Role: Teleconsultation Doctor

Role Overview:
We're hiring a teleconsultation doctor to be the first clinical touchpoint for CureMeAbroad's international patients, primarily from the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. You'll be reviewing patient records, conducting virtual consultations across general medicine domains, and providing guidance on aesthetic procedures (pre and post-op). Ideally, you're a practicing GP or have a general medicine background with strong English communication skills and a genuine interest in serving an international patient base.
The role requires flexibility across time zones and a comfort level with telemedicine workflows. If you're a clinician who enjoys patient interaction and wants to work in a high-growth medical tourism environment, this is a good fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with international patients across time zones via CureMeAbroad's telemedicine platform, covering pre-travel assessments, post-treatment follow-ups, and general medical queries
- Review patient records, diagnostics, and case histories before each session and arrive fully prepared
- Provide accurate, clear, and empathetic clinical guidance, particularly across aesthetic medicine, neurology, orthopaedics, and reproductive medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to practise as a safe and clinically sound doctor, with strong cross-disciplinary medical knowledge in pharmacology, diagnostic medicine, pathology, internal medicine, and general surgery, and the judgement to identify red flags, manage risk appropriately, and escalate cases when specialist opinion is required.
- Select appropriate candidates for surgery.
- Recognize medical and psychological contraindications.
- Communicate risks, benefits, and expectations clearly.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with the broader CureMeAbroad care team.
- Maintain compliant, detailed EMR entries following HIPAA and applicable data privacy standards
- Engage patients with the warmth and polish expected by a luxury healthcare clientele, handling sensitive topics with cultural sensitivity and tact.

Eligibility & Requirements
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- 7 to 8 years minimum of clinical experience, with meaningful time spent in general practice, internal medicine, or a closely adjacent specialty
- Demonstrated exposure to or interest in aesthetic medicine, whether through clinical practice, relevant training, or patient advisory experience
- English fluency at C1/C2 level, written and spoken, with the ability to explain complex medical information simply and confidently to a non-clinical audience
- Comfortable with telemedicine platforms, EMR tools, and digital patient workflows
- Availability to cover flexible hours accommodating US, Australian, and European time zone
